Biography of David England, psychotherapist
After a successful first career in IT, I spent seven years training for my second career as a psychotherapist and counsellor.
I qualified as a counsellor in 1996 and as a psychotherapist and group worker in 1998, after which I finally gave up IT to focus fully on my second career as a psychotherapist, counsellor and group worker.
I have since run a private psychotherapy and counselling practice in Maidenhead, as well as being a facilitator on personal development courses.
I trained to be a psychotherapist and group worker at The Institute of Psychosynthesis in London.
I also work as a course tutor at The Institute of Psychosynthesis. In addition, I am a professional storyteller, a member of Equity, and sometimes weave stories and poems into my work as a psychotherapist.
